What is MCP?

The Model Context Protocol is an open standard that lets AI assistants use other apps. NudgeTask runs an MCP server, so your assistant can read and update your workspace from the chat.

Which assistants work with NudgeTask?

Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code and Gemini CLI, plus any client that supports remote MCP servers with OAuth.

Is the connection secure?

You sign in with OAuth 2.1, so there is no API key to copy or leak. Your assistant acts as you and only sees the projects your account can open.

Do I need a paid plan?

MCP uses your plan as it is: the same limits apply, generations use AI credits and posts count against your publishing quota, as in the app.

Can my assistant change my tasks?

Yes, if you allow it. The first time it tries to change tasks, posts, media or run a generation, your client asks you to approve that access.
